A late show, and for the right reasons! The name gives it away a little as it was a bit saucy. The show featured several artists performing short sketches (and promoting their own shows). The audience was treated to exotic burlesque dancing – both solo acts and a duo – as well as stand-up comedy, a male stripper and a “fiery” performance!
The MC was excellent at getting the crowd involved and Gee’d up for the next act. The first was a local burlesque dance who first graced the stage in the wrong costume then ordered to go back-stage and put the right one on. Entertaining, and she finished up in minimal attire!
Next up was a duo performing an excellent dance routine with the male tossing his female partner around himself and the stage with exquisite grace – best of the night!
We were then treated to some stand-up comedy then a fire-eater who also delighted in running the hot flames up and down her body! Another burlesque dancer graced the stage to Def Leppard’s Pour Some Sugar on Me– which she did (in all sorts of places!), as well as having the audience throwing lollies at her.
Then, of course, something for the ladies with a male stripper who also required some assistance from females in the audience to help disrobe.
Overall, a very entertaining and funny show and giving attendees a taste of what the performers’ full shows may deliver.
