Melbourne International Comedy Festival Review – Brianna Williams.

By Tony Polese · On April 9, 2017

Brianna Williams  – La Petite Merde

Imperial Hotel

Opening in to a scene in a French cafe you quickly realise the croissants on the table may be used for something else. After explaining ‘a situation’ with a witch, Brianna whisks you away with an elective mix of sketches, from over enthusiastic work colleague Kelsey to the awkwardly endearing and inappropriate Mama NumNums.

Brianna is comedy’s answer to MC Hammer and sneaks in a musical number. The use of the audience engages everyone in the show and ticks all the comedy boxes with a smile. The only thing that could be asked for is for the final character to be as strong as the rest. Funny and witty, a guaranteed giggle with something for everyone.

8/10 Croissants
