THE FUNKOARS ‘MAD AS HELL’ TOUR

By Tony Polese · On May 31, 2016

On the verge of finally dropping their 5th full-length studio album your friendly neighbourhood FUNKOARS are venturing back out of their caves and deep into your hearts. Mad as Hell is a distilled throw back to the bands earliest material built around some of the most complex bodily fluid jokes and faux pas this side of Pornhub and The Onion. Delivered over signature drums with the furious amount of funk you’ve come to expect from ARIA award winning producer Trials (Hilltop Hoods, Seth Sentry, Drapht, A.B. Original), “mad as hell” brings the bands journey back to their often uncomfortable roots as the kings of questionable content full circle and executed with 16 years of experience and confidence in all things crass.

Joining your favourite derelicts on the road is Melbourne based Bad Apples signee Birdz. Birdz along with his fellow roster of Briggs’ Bad Apples artists is one of the many growing voices in Australia of the Independent Indigenous Hip-Hop movement spreading hard hitting conscious content over uncompromising heavy melodic hip-hop beats produced by a slew of the countries finest (James Mangohig from Sietta, Joelistics, Jimblah) heavily featured on Triple J at the moment with the incredible “Rise”.

Don’t miss your first chance to hear exclusive cuts from The ‘Oars upcoming full length as well as a ton of classic’s that’ll make your neck snap and Nanna nervous.
