SPIDERBAIT 2017 – New Brisbane Date & Special Guests

By Tony Polese · On April 12, 2017

SPIDERBAIT
Ivy and the Big Apples LIVE 2017
New Brisbane Date and Special Guests
Tickets on sale now from
www.spiderbait.com.au

Five weeks ago, Kram, Whitt and Janet hit the road, embarking on what has become Spiderbait’s largest tour to date, playing their seminal album ‘Ivy and the Big Apples’ to sold out crowds around the country.

Set to play two consecutive shows at Brisbane’s The Tivoli, their March 30 gig had to be postponed in the midst of Ex Cyclone Debbie. That show has been rescheduled to Saturday 20 May.

Their first Brissy gig absolutely went off, and the ‘Bait are itching to get back to the Sunshine State!

The new date means new supports and Kram, Whitt and Janet have recruited all time legends and Brisbane favourites Major Leagues and Bugs to hit the stage with them! Ain’t no Debbie raining on this parade.

Garage rockers with loads of charm to boot, Major Leagues have taken 2017 by storm. They’ve just dropped their anticipated EP ‘Dream States’ and having toured with the likes of Beach Fossils, Wild Nothing and The Preatures, they’re a super exciting addition to the tour!

Self-proclaimed Brissy brats Bugs are the fun-loving 90s noise pop band on everyone’s lips. They’ve got a killer lo-fi sound and anthems that you just can’t help but sing along to. You’ve heard favourites like ‘Best Friend’ and ‘Rock Paper Scissors’ on triple j, and now you can hear it live!

For those that can’t make it to the show, refund applications can be made at the point of purchase, and must be claimed before Tuesday 25 April 2017.

Tickets are still available, but with a track record of selling out they won’t last long! Grab one soon and don’t miss your final date with the ‘Bait on this tour!
