STRICTLY EMBARGOED UNTIL 6AMMONDAY APRIL 16, 2018– Currently blowing the minds of American audiences with her incredible performances on the hottest tour of 2018, P!NK has announced TWO FINAL SHOWS for the Australian leg of her Beautiful Trauma World Tour. The superstar will be performing at Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena on Saturday, August 25 and Sunday, August 26. Touring in support of Beautiful Trauma (released through Sony Music Australia), the now four-times Platinum Australian #1 album (also #1 in the US and UK), this takes the Australian show count to a massive 35 dates, including 11 in Melbourne, 9 in Sydney, 7 in Brisbane and 4 each in Adelaide and Perth. Joining P!nk on her Australian tour will be local alt-rock favourites, The Rubens. 2018 has already been a huge year for The Rubens. After the release last October of the exuberant party jam ‘Million Man’, the band are set to make a huge return with their forthcoming third album, LO LA RU, out June 29. Picking up where their triple j Hottest 100 topping single ‘Hoops’ left off, the band are also celebrating the release of their brand new single, ‘Never Ever’ featuring Grammy Award nominated songwriter Sarah Aarons. In addition the new Sydney shows, a limited number of Wild Hearts Zone tickets (standing area within the stage) will be released for all shows in Perth, Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney. This will be fans’ final chance to see P!nk live in 2018 – no additional shows will be added to the Australian tour. Tickets for the two new Sydney shows and Wild Hearts Zones in all cities will go on sale at midday this Thursday, April 19. With each return Down Under, the love and admiration for our adopted Alecia Moore has grown exponentially. P!NK’s debut Try This Tour in 2004 laid the foundation of her Australian domination with a respectable six arena shows. 2007’s I’m Not Dead Tour played to more than 308,000 fans over 35 nights. Two years later, the phenomenal 58-arena-shows Funhouse House Tour broke venue records everywhere it went, selling in excess of 658,000 tickets and still stands as the biggest selling tour by a solo female artist in Australia. 2013’s The Truth About Love Tour, played out in front of more than 600,000 rapturous fans.
