Ocean Grove are incredibly psyched to present the new dates for their long-awaited rescheduled Australian headline tour, now aptly named the ‘Flip Phone In The Air Tour’, which promises to be a gig like no other, and Ocean Grove’s first headline appearances in the country since 2019.

The original ‘Flip Phone Finally’ tour which was planned for August 2021 was forcibly shelved due to harsher restrictions coming back into place across the country last year. Despite the apparent setback, Ocean Grove have been powering ahead ever since, announcing their brand new album Up In The Air Forever to be released on the 22nd April, 2022 via UNFD.

Ocean Grove’s Up In The Air Forever is a full-hearted mix of big-sky melodies and some of the most unique storytelling ever to come from a three-piece rock band. The band’s third LP expands on many of the things that made 2020 breakout Flip Phone Fantasy such a hit – huge choruses, irresistible riffs and catchy sloganeering lyrics – but now rendered with a new sense of scope and scale. Hazy, nostalgic guitars wrap themselves around swaggering pop savvy, the trio’s ambition evident on every layer, from meticulous song crafting to head-spinning concepts.

The Flip Phone In The Air Tour promises to be an epic 2 for the price of 1 type event. Fans will bear witness to Ocean Grove’s critically acclaimed live performances across six major Australian cities this coming May and June, showcasing the hits and deeper cuts from not only their second LP Flip Phone Fantasy, but also from their third album Up In The Air Forever. Ocean Grove invites you to their biggest party to date in celebration of two career-defining albums.
