Saturday night was an extremely amazing night, the weather was beautiful, Botanic Park looked sensational and everyone was excited to see Lionel Richie.
I was lucky enough to have a fantastic seat to view the concert and the crowd were all happy as they drank wine and waited.
Lionel Richie was an inspirational performer and artist. He did not look 68 years old and his energy and enthusiasm was fantastic. He kept the crowd entertained as they were filmed and shown on the backdrops.
He sang songs from the Commodores era which the older crowd enjoyed and his classic hits such as Hello and Dancing on the Ceiling. Everyone was singing loudly and remembering the years gone by when music was about meaningful lyrics and soulful sounds.
He mentioned his great friend Michael Jackson and sang one of his songs which was touching.
Lionel Richie is a true gentleman and performer, he loves interacting with his audience. He knows how to keep everyone singing and dancing to his fantastic songs.
Adelaide was very privileged that he came here as the concert was one of the best I have seen and the atmosphere and surroundings where perfect.
I rate the concert 10/10 as he made everyone reminisce on why they loved his music so much.
