In the Chair is a regular feature on Eventalaide, highlighting artists from across Australia and occasionally overseas. 21 Questions and everyone gets the same questions. It is just meant to be a bit of fun so please treat it as such.

Frankie Sunwagon is a four-piece band who identify as Fem-Punk, drawing inspiration from other bands such as VOIID, Camp Cope, Teenage Joans and TOWNS. Musically, elements of alternative rock and punk can be heard, along with Shoegaze and Noise Rock scattered throughout the instrumentals. Their recently released second single ‘Fall’ aims to solidify their place in the South Australian music scene, by showcasing the bands more intense characteristics.

Name: Annie Burgess

Band: Frankie Sunwagon

In less than 50 words describe your music, your band and yourself.
I’m the bassist for the dream-punk Adelaide band Frankie Sunwagon. Personally, my music playing and song writing draws influence from goth rock, 2000’s emo and nu-metal (think My Chemical Romance meets The Cure meets Evanescence) and the band overall also combines elements of shoegaze indie rock and pop-punk. _________________________________________________________________________________
