Holy Holy at The Gov Review

By Tony Polese · On December 11, 2018

Holy Holy – Faces Tour

It was back to one of Adelaide’s best gig locations for me, that was The Gov!

Australian duo Holy Holy set out on their Faces tour this year making us fans quite happy to see them return!

The alternative/psychedelic rock band performed most of their previous album’s songs (Paint- 2017 & When The Storms Would Come- 2015) and managed to sneak in their Triple J’s Like A Version cover, Beyonce’s ‘Hold Up’.

10/10 for the energy and the performance they gave Adelaide, I’m pretty sure I didn’t see anyone not smiling or dancing.

From teens to parents and even grandparents, The duo attracted all age groups and engaged with the crowd. Lead singer Tim jumped into the crowd half way through the gig and danced with fans. They ended the gig with a 3 song encore, making it a memorable gig.

So will there be a new album released next year with a following tour? We’ll just have to wait and see 😉
