Hayden James at Bonython Hall Review

By Tony Polese · On September 25, 2018

The crew behind the Royal Croquet Club has begun their collaboration with their new partner The University of Adelaide by welcoming up and coming Sydney-based producer Hayden James to the grandiose Bonython Hall.

James recently brought his Just Friends tour into the soaring ceilings of the opulent venue with the support of rapper Camouflage Rose and soulfully energetic duo Happiness Is Wealth. His signature luscious, low key house sounds throbbed into the hall as James delivered all of his classic tracks including 2013 hit ‘Permission to Love’, ‘Something About You’ and his new single ‘Just A Lover.’

As he gradually added hypnotic, soulful and evocative layers the crowd became lost in his mesmerising beat and James definitely lived up to the hype of rave reviews received worldwide.

RCC Fringe 2019 will be bringing plenty more quality live music, visual art, physical circus and dance to Adelaide’s North Terrace campus, so keep your eyes peeled for future events!
