Global Superstar Shania Twain Announces New Single ‘Life’s About to Get Good’ and First Album in 15 Years
Global superstar Shania Twain has revealed new music news with her new single ‘Life’s About to get Good’, scheduled for release in June and her first album in 15 years is due out in September.
When writing ‘Life’s About to Get Good’ Shania explains, “I was at home looking out at the ocean and I said to myself, ‘Here I am stuck in this past of negativity, but it’s so beautiful out. I’m not in the mood to write a ‘feeling-sorry-for-myself’ song.” The songwriter recognized that with all the negative in life also comes the positive, “You can’t have the good without the bad. And that’s what the song ended up being about.”
Shania, who recently appeared as a guest on CBS’ The Late Late Show with James Corden, and has just been announced as the fifth judge on The Voice (in the US), plans to debut her new single during her headlining set this Saturday night in Indio, Calif. at Stagecoach Festival, one of the US’ most prominent country music festivals.
Shania is a five-time GRAMMY Award-winner and the reigning Queen of Country Pop. With more than 75 million albums sold worldwide and US sales topping 34.5 million, Shania remains the top-selling female country artist of all time.
