The Adelaide Beer & BBQ Festival, Australia’s premier celebration of beer, food, and music, is excited to reveal the highly anticipated lineup of brewers participating in the 2024 edition of the festival. Scheduled for July 12-14 at the Adelaide Showground, this year’s event promises an unforgettable weekend featuring culinary delights, live entertainment, and a diverse selection of beers and beverages. In addition to showcasing live entertainment and a tantalising BBQ lineup, the fest is thrilled to present an exciting array of brewers from across Australia and beyond. Prepare to immerse yourself in a beer lover’s paradise with over 1,000 beers and “not-beers” on offer, sourced from breweries near and very far. Recognising the challenges faced by the beer industry post-COVID, the festival has collaborated closely with the Independent Brewers Association of Australia and has introduced an inaugural Beer Ambassador to curate a standout lineup of 67 brewers, winemakers and distillers, which is being unveiled for the first time today. |
ABBF’s Inaugural Beer Ambassador, Ryan Davidson, (ex-Founder of Little Bang Brewing Co.) emphasises the importance of supporting the independent brewing industry during challenging times:”The independent brewing industry is doing it tough right now. Ridiculously tough. Cost of living, rent, materials, excise increases, big business squashing us with lock-out contracts, and consumer preferences shifting mid-recession has made for a uniquely shitty set of circumstances. But we’re a resilient bunch. We love this industry and we believe in what we do. There’s never been a more important time to get along to events like this and show your support for these remarkable businesses and the people behind them. After the year we’ve had, it’s going to be one hell of a party.”The 2024 brewer lineup embodies what Beer & BBQ HQ is all about: featuring brewers you already know and love, as well as exciting newcomers that they’re confident you’ll embrace. This year’s roster proudly showcases Australia’s independent brewers, whose unwavering dedication defines the spirit of the festival. With the brewing industry in Australia facing unprecedented challenges, the Adelaide Beer & BBQ Festival serves as a vital platform to demonstrate resilience.Making its debut in 2024 is the ‘Look for the Indie Seal Container‘ in collaboration with the Independent Brewers Association (IBA). The IBA champions the independent brewing industry, and this new activation will highlight 18 brews from nine exceptional independent brewers.
