Opening
Schnithouse Elizabeth
November 9, 2015
Is there ever perfect timing for a restaurant to open a second site whilst maintaining consistency and quality? On the back of its flagship site in Rundle Street, Adelaide opened in February this year, Schnithouse Elizabeth was inundated with eager patrons at its opening on Monday, only 8 months after exposing what has become Adelaide’s next best thing!
There has already been Interstate interest in the expansion of this new brand and in addition to potential new sites in Adelaide, this is surely a fine dining experience for everyone including families that is sure to make everyone stand up and take notice.
The atmosphere of the restaurant had a welcoming vibe for everyone, from toddlers holding hands with their parents, to friends walking in or after work colleagues in their uniform, faces of excitement and study of the menus not knowing what to expect.
“You can’t get a beef schnitzel like this anywhere” feedback from locals sitting at the table next to me, whom brought their two toddlers and mum out for dinner assured they will return again and are looking forward to the pending kids area.
Robin and Rachael attended the café with her daughter, her feedback after eating the first schnitzel was “Melted in my mouth, have never had anything like that, I have eaten overseas on cruises and I thought that was great, this absolutely smashed it out the park” further more saying she has already recommended this place to her family and will return without even finishing the schnit in front of her. Accommodating for all dietary needs Rachael was pleased with her Gluten Free option.
Schnithouse Elizabeth’s tables were quickly filled and this carried on through the night.
From its timber and rustic brick feature walls to its German Hofbrau beer fonts set on a handcrafted wooden bar, coupled with its tranquil outdoor grass setting and white pickets on entry, not to mention an extensive wine list, Schnithouse is sure to please.
Stay tuned for details of an official opening featuring a famous traditional keg tapping ceremony to be posted via the Elizabeth Schnithouse Facebook Page.
