The Govʼs chef Adam Budd has joined forces with the crew from Big Shed Brewing Co to put together a Meet the Brewer event you wonʼt want to miss.
Book in for a four-course meal thatʼs taken inspiration from the beer, with Pork belly popcorn with cherry popper mayo to get you started, Crispy duck shanks served with pickled carrot and beery ripe porter compote for entrée, Beef cheek and brown ale pie with green pea purée, prosciutto, pepper leaf pumpkin for main and golden stout time beeramisu with caramel and honeycomb to finish. Salivating yet?
Five of Big Shed Brewing Coʼs beers will be available to taste:
Cherry Popper Apple & Cherry Cider: 90% Apple and 10% Cherry blend fermented with champagne yeast. The result is a semi sweet sparkling cider and itʼs quite delicious.
Californicator West Coast IPA: This one is all about the hops, with citrus, passionfruit, apricot and pine. Just like youʼd expect from West Coast USA.
F-Yeah American Pale Ale: This badboy ainʼt a light beer and can be enjoyed any time – expect citrus aroma and firm bitterness.
FrankenBROWN American Brown Ale: This hoppy dark monster wonʼt raze a village but it will drop some badass funk on your taste buds.
KolsChisel German Pale: Subtle bready, malt flavours backed up with a hop spiciness that makes you want to come back foranother.
