Hotels have undergone a huge transformation across all aspects of their business since enforced COVID19 restrictions were implemented earlier this year and whilst much of the world remains off limits for travel, a staycation at Adelaide’s boutique five-star Playford Hotel has a new twist that will add a whole new level of style to your stay.
The beautiful art-deco style Playford Hotel on North Terrace has turned COVID regulations on their head and guests are the winners. Faced with restrictions on “in-room” items, the Playford management have creatively devised a new experience whereby on checking, guests will be provided with their own butler service on hand to deliver room items.
In a service usually reserved for those in penthouses, ‘By Jeeves’ will see all rooms at the Playford M Gallery by Sofitel enjoy the benefit of a white gloved butler arriving at their door, silver tray in hand with their room requests fulfilled.
“COVID regulations that we are required to follow gave us the opportunity to have a think about how to turn a staycation at The Playford into a fun positive experience and we felt a little five-star butler service is just what we all need in our lives right now” said Playford Hotel General Manager Maurits de Graeff
The Playford Hotel is open for business as usual with several accommodation offers and has also introduced a sensational new ‘Playford Feast’ experience in Adelaide’s most stunning lounge bar on weekends. With shared grazing tables and high tea towers belonging to pre-COVID times, personal service is now the order of the day. Guests will enjoy a stunning array of delicacies on their own personal charcuterie board, a savoury platter and an exquisite ‘just for you’ desert tray all for $39.50pp.
Playford Adelaide Staycation bookings will receive a $50 voucher toward food and beverages purchased in house.
