After the announcement of the 2015 Royal Adelaide Show wine trophy winners, it was time to taste all the winners’ wines. The Royal Adelaide wine show dozen tasting was held at a new venue this year being the Bull Bar at the Adelaide Showgrounds. The venue gave the event a nice relaxed feel which was perfect for the sunny Sunday afternoon.

Upon entry, we were greeted by a friendly representative from winedirect.com.au who gave an overview of how the event worked.

We started with the whites and rose which were all fresh and crisp. They went down nicely on the warm spring day. It was now time for us to enjoy some reds which were all bold and easy to drink.

Upon tasting these wines, it was quite obvious why they were the trophy winners with the quality wine on show. The wines were also available to purchase at a discounted price on the day.

A fantastic wine event organised by winedirect.com.au, and we look forward to experiencing the 2016 Royal Adelaide Show winners.
