The talented Kransky trio are back in town and even whackier than before. Join small town sisters, Mourne (Annie Lee), Eve (Christine Johnston) and Dawn (Carolyn Johns) from Esk, Queensland, in a wild night of laughter and songs as their share their bizarre Christmas rituals. Listen to their manic twist on festive classics, Silent Night and Twelve Days of Christmas as well as contemporary hits such as Michael Jackson’s Thriller and Gangnam Style. Who knew the tuba was be a great musical arrangement in Highway to Hell with the saw and toilet brush thrown into the musical mix. Superb harmonies all the while delivered in a funny deadpan manner.
Whilst the show had a slow start as we grappled with establishing rapport with the characters, it soon hit their stride and built up to an almighty crescendo which had the audience in tears and begging for more.
For anyone who has to sit through a dysfunctional family gathering take reprieve and revel in the antics from painted chokos to royal memorabilia. It just might help you survive those challenging family members, so put this on your to do list every year.
