Silence Movie Review

By Tony Polese · On February 20, 2017

Andrew Garfield puts on a potential Oscar winning performance in this Martin Scorsese epic film, based on Shusaku Endo’s 1966 novel.

Silence tells the tale of 2 young priests who go on a dangerous journey to Japan in search of their mentor, played by the magnificent Liam Neeson.

Along the way they face persecution for advocating Christianity amongst the Japanese people leading to brutal cases of inhumane torture while trying to maintain their strong faith.
Silence is a gripping film that’s not for the faint hearted and will keep you on the edge of your seat.
