Get Out Review – In cinemas May 4, 2017
Get out is written and directed by Jordan Peele and the film opened Number one in North America at $33.4 million. It has far exceeded expectations, reaching the $100 million milestone in just 16 days, which also makes it the fastest film from Blumhouse to hit that mark.
We made our way to GU Film House on a mild April evening to get a sneak peak of Get Out before its general film release. After being on a thrill ride for two hours, here is our review of Get Out:
Its meet the Fockers meets Alfred Hitchcock as a young couple’s weekend with the family is a recipe for suspense. Add some idealist scenery, the backdrop of young love and some interracial stereotypes and GET OUT is a fresh thriller that keeps you on the edge for twists.
If you want coffee talk after the movie GET OUT will get u thinking and get you talking with your fellow moviegoers.
Get out of your house and GET OUT to the cinema this May!
