Adelaide Cup day brought fashion enthusiasts to a standstill with an abundance of bold and daring beauty, embracing and coordinating colour and contrast.
The start of the 2017 racing season saw an array of floaty florals, baby blue and pink pastels, pleated perfection, embellished embroidery and vibrant prints. This year is well and truly all about the glitz, glamour and details; also known as all the finer things in life.
It was great to see the highest quality from top to toe on display. Hats and fascinators made a comeback this year, but headpieces took the trifecta when a love affair between jewels and metallics joined forces to create the ultimate statement piece.
Adelaide trend-setters paired outfits with everyday essentials that could be worked back into the wardrobe, including palazzo pants and asymmetric draped shirts, and blazers and boots, which created a feminine, yet chic look that drew eyes from all over the field.
Clip joint salons and media makeup glam squads worked their magic to provide hair and makeup touch-ups in the Clique Beauty Bar tent. Attendees could receive the VIP treatment from shine spray to a refreshed lip; as everyone knows a flawless face ties any outfit together.
Above all, personal flare and individuality are the two essential features to any outfit. This allows any race-goer’s unique form of elegance and ladylike confidence to shine through.
Morphettville Racecourse will remain a stylish playground for all to frolic and play as the Spring racing season swiftly approaches.
