Rooftop Tour – FAD

Festival of Architecture and Design
High/Adelaide – Guided Rooftop Tour review
October 12, 2015

As part of the Festival of Architecture and Design (FAD), a guided roof top tour was organised for lucky attendees.

The first stop of the tour was at Oxygen on Halifax Street. This was just the start of breathtaking views of the city and suburbs we would encounter for the afternoon.

Our second stop was at Rowlands Apartments which funny enough is on Rowlands Place, it has been open since 2013. The sky deck and bar facilities at the top of these apartments are truly amazing. Breathtaking views, and a fantastic space to book for those special events and milestones in your life.

The final stop of the tour was at Schiavello on Currie Street with their open air rooftop. A representative from Schiavello gave a fantastic talk discussing surrounding buildings and the history of the site which we found very interesting and informative. Delicious wine and cheese was also served on the rooftop to top off a memorable rooftop tour to the special guests. We’d like to say a big thanks to all three venues and the organizers.
