I was looking forward to some great magic and illusion – but looks like I booked the wrong show! I should have booked the earlier show Auslusion: Gadzookz!
This one was a series of short sketches by other Fringe performers spruiking their own shows. We had a mix of illusion, comedy, mind-reading and story-telling. Of the half dozen performances, I would probably only want to see two of their full shows – Illusion of Magic by Troppo Bob, and Atten-Borrow by Steve Weyland. What I saw of the others were good, but not enough to entice me to go and see them again. However, this is a good forum to check out various acts to see if you would be keen to see more.
