A Very Woggy Xmas in July.

By Tony Polese · On August 2, 2017

A Very Woggy Xmas in July.

The stage was set with simple and colourful Xmas decorations and ornaments to create that fun Xmas feel. The event was a full house, with excited and lively guests from all backgrounds.

There was a warm and joyful vibe from the crowd, with a great feeling of excitement and anticipation for the show to begin. Rows of chairs were supplied for the audience, along with lounge booths and bar tables for the more relaxed guests. The bar was open for drinks, because who doesn’t enjoy a good glass of wine or 2 over a comedy show? Perfect!

As the show began, you could feel the adrenaline and anticipation as the crowd naturally bonded – we were all aware that these wisecracking comedians were living our lives, and these jokes were going to be…well…about us!

This action packed production succeeded in tapping into our emotions through humour. I was surprised at how many side splitting jokes, funny stories and amusing song lyrics these Greek, Italian and Spanish comedians had created! The audience was in a trance, focused on every last word and in stitches of uncontrollable laughter, as we could all relate to these hilarious jokes about our families, parents and life in general as an ethnic Australian.

Each comedian did not fail to please the audience! Thank you to the amazing and ridiculously hilarious comedians who performed on the night George Kapiniaris, James Liotta, Gabriel Rossi and Johnny Burgos for reminding us that our families are completely normal…Or are they?

Warning – Do not attend if you are easily offended!
