Showing for the 2024 Adelaide Cabaret Festival, Mark Nadler brings boundless sass, incredible musical prowess and a voice able to captivate the most champagne soaked of audiences.
Featuring guest spots from some Cabaret Festival favourites including Brett LaBonte, Flo & Joan, and Gillian Cosgriff. Equally captivating and impressive and Nadler and his guests serenade a packed house. A true entertainer, Nadler includes songs from Gershwin, and among other famous numbers, adds a rubber chicken and some tap shoes to a great night out at Hootenanny.
Versions of Lady And the Tramp, I Got Rhythm, and other classics are beautifully enlarged to a late night stage. Real life stories are cheekily combined with quick witted responses to the audience and those who share the stage.
Nadler is a start, and can intercept classics so convincingly that hearing the original for the first time at the show can make other versions stark.
