Harlem Globetrotters Return to Australia

The world-famous Harlem Globetrotters will make their long-awaited return to Australia in June and July as part of the Spread Game tour.
 
The Globetrotters are set to thrill crowds across the country with full-court family fun including sensational ball handling, dunking, big plays, and brand-new characters across all four quarters.
 
The tour will begin on Thursday, June 30, on the Gold Coast and conclude on Thursday, July 14, in Adelaide.
 
The Globetrotters will visit 13 different venues across the two-week tour.

“We are so excited to bring the Harlem Globetrotters back to Australia for their Spread Game tour,” Hungry Jack’s NBL Commissioner Jeremy Loeliger said.
 
“It’s been three long years since they last toured Australia and we are sure basketball fans from across the nation will come out in droves to enjoy a world class night of family friendly entertainment.”

Friday July 1 – Townsville – Townsville Entertainment & Convention Centre
Saturday July 2 – Brisbane – Nissan Arena
Sunday July 3 – Sydney – Qudos Bank Arena
Monday July 4 – Wollongong – WIN Entertainment Centre
Tuesday July 5 – Perth – RAC Arena
Thursday July 7 – Traralgon – Gippsland Regional Indoor Sports Stadium
Friday July 8 – Ballarat – Selkirk Stadium 
Saturday July 9 – Melbourne – John Cain Arena
Sunday July 10 – Bendigo – Bendigo Stadium
Monday July 11 – Hobart – MyState Bank Arena
Tuesday July 12 – Launceston – Silverdome
Thursday July 14 – Adelaide – Adelaide Entertainment Centre
First formed in 1926, the Harlem Globetrotters are one of the most popular entertainment brands in the world, performing hundreds of live shows every year.
 
Their unique basketball skills and wizardry have thrilled millions of fans and the team is synonymous with family entertainment and breaking down barriers and social divides.
 
The Globetrotters currently hold 21 Guinness World Record Titles, having set an amazing 5 new records on Guinness World Records Day in 2018.
 
The Spread Game tour is all about honouring the late and great Curly Neal. Neal played for 22 seasons with the Globetrotters between 1963-1985, appearing in more than 6,000 games in 97 countries. His number 22 was retired by the Globetrotters in 2008.
