Lady Bird explores the time in your life when you are trying to find your identity in life, when your goals and aspirations clashes with your families goals, and when you commence dating the opposite sex and the pleasure and pain that this brings, and where you seek more friends, but sometimes less is more.
Over the journey of the film, there will be times where you shake your head at the actions of Lady Bird, but other times where you just want to give her the warmest hug,
Ultimately, Lady Bird portrays that when you find inner happiness within yourself and your family, then you are truly free. And you learn that home is truly where your heart is, and hey, you may even start using your real name.
I give Lady Bird 9.5 out of 10 lady birds.
