2018 Adelaide Fringe – Mr Snot bottom’s Stinky Silly Songs

By Tony Polese · On January 19, 2018

Hysterically disgusting kids comedian Mr Snot bottom returns to the Garden of

Unearthly Delights this Adelaide Fringe with a collection of silly, stinky songs for kids.

The Peter Pan of all things gross, The Willy Wonka of all things weird, MrSnot-bottom delivers a barrage of tasteless tunes and horrendous harmonies co-written by the likes of Benny Davis (Axis of Awesome) and Tom Bettany ( Average, The Beards)

“I’ve been very lucky to work with some very talented people,”  says the shows creator and star Mark Trenwith. “most people found writing comedy for kids a very joyous, freeing and fun experience. The skies the limit with a child’s imagination and I think that’s what really attracted people to working on the project.”

With song titles like “Ghost In My Loo,”  “I Lived in Your Guts” & “My Head Exploded,”  this symphony of silliness is set to entertain all ages.  “The show is very much designed for parents and children to share together,” says Trenwith. “It makes me sad going to a show and seeing kids at the front and parents at the back not interacting with each other. That doesn’t happen in my shows. Nothing makes me happier than seeing a Mum or Dad and child laugh together and share the performance as a family.”

A stand up of fifteen years experience, Trenwith has performed in many children’s stage and TV shows including Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends, Ben Ten The Live Experience and as ‘Captain Starlight’ a super hero that visits patients at the Melbourne Children’s Hospital.
