AMBRA Liqueur Review

By John Goodridge · On November 7, 2017

Great opening night at Ambra with a Ambra Spritz on entry and a delicious range of authentic Italian snacks including their home cured meats and tomato bread. The brand spanking new Piaggio scooter, named Sophia, was decked out in the same yellow and blue that is now the signature colour of Ambra. After a tour of the acilities, where we saw how Limoncella is made from 95% alcohol and lemon peel, we tried the Cannella Cappuccino which was delicious. The philosophy af Ambra is to use as much local produce as possible, with fresh local oranges and lemons, and Bickford soda and cranberry juice. Cranberry was a key ingredient in the final cocktail, the Ambra Lime Blush with Limencello, Lime and Soda. Ambra is open Wed – Fri for tastings and is becoming popular with Hen’s nights for their cocktail classes. “
