The best of the Riverland region comes to the jewel of McLaren Vale this summer when the new Twenty Third Street Distillery collaborates with Beresford Estate to present their prime spirits for the inaugural, free and fabulous ‘Lavish Lawn Days’.
The first of these is set for the lush lawns of the picturesque Beresford Estate in the heart of McLaren Vale on November 12 and 13 from 11am to 5pm, with follow-up events scheduled for the weekends of December 10-11 and January 28-29 and February 11-12, 2017.
The Lavish Lawn Days offer the best of Beresford’s award-winning wines and Twenty Third Street’s artisan-inspired cocktails, complemented by magnificent food from My Kitchen Rules 2014 champion, Bree May, and enjoyed to the strains of live music provided by Michael Spyker.
The cocktails will be served from Twenty Third Street Distillery’s pop up bar – a replica of the company’s iconic and historic distillery in Renmark – by brand ambassador and cocktail guru Shaun Pattinson. He’ll be on hand on both days to create a series of classic and liberated cocktails with Twenty Third Street’s craft spirits, among them the signature gin, the Not Your Nanna’s brandy and a hybrid whiskey, as the hero spirits.
Matching the drinks and completing a very special sensory journey will be a selection of Bree May’s delicious dishes created using local ingredients.
