Fringe in the Hills: Stirling Fringe

By Tony Polese · On April 20, 2022

The Coventry library parklands were the location for the opening for the Stirling Fringe on Friday night and Eventalaide was there to witness it.

A full house with plenty of families spent their Good Friday enjoying an array of acts from hula hoopers, fire twirlers, magicians and dancers then topped off by a cuban band (which is now dancing approved)

However, the highlight of the night was the welcome to country that was done under the sunset with the picturesque views of the hills. The performer was engaging and explained the origins of the didgeridoo, stating he practiced 8 hours a day for a year to perfect it.

The Stirling fringe is one instalment of the Fringe in the Hills concept, which has changed dates from previous years to make it more of a standalone event. There will be more events in various locations in the Hills all the way until the 24th of April.
